Office Day Out

We recently spent a day out of the office exploring some built precedents around Hackney and our new local area Bermondsey. Our meandering route took us from Haworth Tompkins’ brownfield regeneration project on Fish Island, through the mews streets at Chobham Manor by PRP, around The Tannery by Coffey Architects, to Appleby Blue Almshouse by Witherford Watson Mann Architects. Our tour exposed use to a myriad of different approaches to housing in a variety of urban contexts and has given us much food for thought and inspiration for our own projects.

Speaking of food, it would not have been a proper outing without book-ending the day with a coffee at one end, pub dinner at the other and plenty of snacks in between!
