In February 2024, Jas Bhalla Works won a competitive tender launched through Lot 07 of the Mayor’s new Architecture and Urbanism Panel to design new infill housing in two of Camden’s Estates.

We brought together a stellar team which includes Mikhail Riches Architects, landscape architects Periscope, structural engineers Simple Works, MEP engineers Greenguage, and sustainability consultants Useful Projects. The scheme will provide much needed new social and affordable rent homes across Camden.

Shortly after our appointment was confirmed, we held an event with the team at Camden Council to meet local residents to understand their concerns and priorities. We’re now putting together early design ideas in response to the feedback received and look forward to sharing project progress in the weeks and months ahead.
