Jas speaks at William Sutton Prize 2025 launch

Jas was invited to speak at the launch for the William Sutton Prize’s sixth year. The award supports individuals and organisations tackling the housing sector’s most urgent challenges with a mix of grant funding and business support to help bring their ideas and proposals to life. In his speech, Jas reflected on how winning the prize in 2019 became a springboard for the launching of his new practice and stressed the continued need for affordable housing despite the challenging market.

Jas Bhalla Works won the William Sutton Prize in 2019, for a planning policy proposal encouraging high-quality brownfield development along nine key routes in Outer London. Jas has since continued to be involved with the William Sutton Prize and was invited to judge the award in 2023.
